Film Description & Language Transcriptions
Steeping is a short, experimental/non-fiction film that uses slow-motion and scale to invite the viewer into a new perspective on an everyday task: making tea.

Tech Talk – How did you do it?
Steeping was shot on an iPhone 6 almost exclusively using 240fps video. It was edited in Final Cut Pro. Some (stock) audio elements were slowed down to around 4% of their original speed, so that they became unrecognizable and distorted from their original form. Original audio elements were recorded either with the iPhone 6 or a Blue Snowball microphone.

I made about 16 pots of hibiscus tea in the process of filming.
