I acknowledge and agree as follows:
1. All entries to iPhoneFIlmMaker and The Original iPhone Film Festival must be shot on an Apple iOS device: iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad. Films not shot on an Apple iOS device will be disqualified from competition and ineligible to appear on our site. All prize winners will be required to submit source footage for verification.
2. All entries in all categories must not run longer than ten minutes (10:00). All films longer than ten minutes regardless of category will screen in one Long Form category.
3. Entries do not have to be edited on an Apple iOS device though we encourage you to do so. You may use any editing program of your choosing and post-production effects are permitted.
4. SUBMISSION DEADLINE - All entries for OIFF 2015 must be received by Thursday , December 31st at 11:59 pm Eastern time.
5. There are no entry fees - submission is free. You may enter as many films as you like.
6. There are no restrictions on submission eligibility with regard to age or residence. Filmmakers of all ages and countries of residence are welcome to submit films, except with regard to the "Student Directors" category. To be eligible for this category, filmmakers must be younger than 18 years old as of December 1, 2017.
However, employees and immediate family of DessCor Digital Ventures LLC (“DDV”) & Original iPhone Film Festival (“OIFF”) and its sponsors, vendors, judges, agencies and partners are not eligible for prizes but are 100% welcome and encouraged to submit films to screen in our Watch gallery.

Prize winners will be required to certify that they have full rights to the use of the music and any other intellectual property: images, video clips, written or recorded work, etc., in their film and must be able to produce written permission at the request of the OIFF. In other words, if you have a favorite song from Bruce Springsteen or Taylor Swift or a Polish boys choir from 1953 or a garage band from Portland on MySpace -
you can't use it in your film - unless you pay to license or otherwise receive written permission from the artist/copyright holder.
8. All films not in the English language must be subtitled or dubbed.
9. All entries must include the Original iPhone Film Fest leader card at the beginning of the film, which can be downloaded from the ENTER page.
10. All entries must be submitted via the ENTER page at
www.originaliphonefilmfest.com or
www.iphonefilmmaker.com and entries are only deemed accepted when the filmmaker has received an official confirmation by email.
11. Entries will only be accepted once the Terms and Conditions are agreed to on the Entry Form.
12. All prize winners will be notified via email.
13. Any films produced or sponsored by a film studio, tv network or similar media outlet e.g. Netflix, Hulu, etc or that have screened on US network or cable television are not eligible for prizes but we're absolutely happy to screen them in our Watch gallery.
14. You assert that you have the right or authorization to submit your film to the OIFF + iPhoneFilmmaker and that the production has no litigation or disputes regarding any part of the production, distribution or originality. You certify that the work submitted is the entrant’s original work and does not infringe on any copyrights or any other rights of any third parties.
15. You hold the OIFF and iPhoneFilmMaker organizers and agents harmless from any damage to submitted media during the process of the film festival.
16. You hold OIFF and DDV, its management, judges, subsidiaries, agents, sponsors, vendors, and affiliates harmless from any and all claims of liability resulting from your entry.

OIFF and DDV have neither permission nor right to sell or otherwise distribute any entered films to any unaffiliated third parties.
18. You give permission for the OIFF to use stills, titles, copy, and/or information from or about the film for promotional purposes; online and in any print media or other campaigns connected with the OIFF and with regard to any events or campaigns with affiliated partners, sponsors and vendors.
19. You own or have authorization to all necessary copyrights and licenses. You will be able to provide model/actor release verification and will be able to provide music, product and other copyright licensing verification if requested. You agree to take on all copyright liability in regard to your submitted film.
20. Submission to the OIFF does not guarantee receipt of any prize. OIFF and DDV cannot be held responsible or liable for losses or damages resulting from not granting prizes or non-exhibition of entered films.
21. Unless otherwise agreed to by the OIFF in writing, prizes will be given to the winning film directors (as identified in the Entry Form) and will be fulfilled approximately 6-8 weeks after the announcement of the winners. Award eligibility is subject to any restrictions or conditions imposed by applicable laws and regulations (international, federal, state or otherwise), and the award recipient is responsible for all applicable taxes, customs, tariffs, insurance and similar charges or costs (if any).
22. Entrant agrees to be bound by all terms and conditions of the official competition rules and regulations as established herein.
