Day After Ferguson - Non Fiction

From the Director:

Film Description

I am an experimental filmmaker who uses almost specifically non-human subjects. I wanted to portray the reactions that myself and many others felt after the November 24. 2014 grand jury decision to not charge Officer Darren Wilson in the shooting death of Michael Brown using non-human subjects and an experimental approach. I chose a run down part of the cities where I live on a bleak, cold, gray day for the visuals. I added adjectives and descriptions to verbalize the feelings of the visuals. I want each individual viewer to take away his/her own interpretation.

Tech Talk - How did you do it?

I used my iPhone 5C to shoot the film. I recorded the sound on the sound recorder that is part of my Windows 8 Dell Laptop. I edited the film using Windows Movie Maker.
